About Our Wedding

On August 12th we got married on Cow Island, a little island three miles off the coast of Portland, Maine. We gathered a small group of close family and friends for an intimate island ceremony.

We are grateful to have had the chance to tie the knot in a place that is so close to our hearts. Cow Island is the home base for Rippleffect, the adventure education organization where we met nine years ago.(Learn more about Rippleffect here)

We are not big center of attention people, so we were intentional about keeping our wedding small and simple. Because of this, we were not able to extend invitations to everyone we love. We hope to find another way to celebrate and connect with you soon! In the meantime, please enjoy some photos of the day below.

We have decided to keep our names the same - we are still Sarah Kearsley & Andy Gagne.

We are happy to be able to share a gallery of images from our wedding day.

Carly Rae Photography  did an incredible job capturing the whole experience. Our friend Melissa also took some lovely 35mm film photos, and we encouraged guests to take Polaroid photos of themselves. You can see a gallery of these photos by clicking the link below.
